  • How is the course material presented?

    The course information is presented as either a video or presentation with audio to provide greater detail. At the end of most modules there will be a short quiz that must be passed to move to the next module. There are two graded projects included in the course. At the conclusion of the course there is a 25 question timed final exam.

  • Can this CPTED Specialized Topics Course be used to renew the NICP's CPTED Professional Designation (CPD) credential?

    Yes, this 16 hour course qualifies as a renewal course for the CPD. Completion of this course will renew the CPD for four years.

  • Is completetion of either the Basic CPTED and/or Advanced CPTED courses required to take the CPTED Specialized Topics course?

    No, students are not required to complete the any other CPTED course(s) to take the CPTED Specialized Topics course.
